How can graphene be used in planes?

so there’s many ways that graphene can be used in planes both looking at things in the short term such as using it to improve the plastic that holds together the carbon fiber within the wings, so in this case was trying to stop water entering the wings which adds weight to
the aircraft we also can use it to measure the strain in the wings to work out if there’s any damage that has occurred in those wings we can also start looking at it as de-icing systems so replacing things such as the copper wiring and copper heating coils with something lighter to prevent ice being built up on the wings ultimately we would like to try and see if we could replace the carbon fibre within the wings but that’s a very long term project that’s at least 20 years away
